TTC for almost a year after PreSeed MC

I was 11 weeks pregnant when I lost my first child in May 2014.
(got pregnant first month of preseed, not with current bf)

my boyfriend and I have been TTC for about a year now,
NO LUCK.
we haven't been using anything, & he hasn't been pulling out.
and I STILL have not gotten pregnant.
im wondering why I got pregnant then, using preseed...
but I haven't been able to get pregnant using absolutely nothing..

I lost the baby,
so im not sure if preseed is the reason for that because I have heard good and bad stories.
but basically, I just used preseed for the first time in a year, yesterday.
im currently on CD 12 out of about 34. apparently im "not fertile" yet.
but I thought if natural sex isn't working then I might as well give preseed another try.
my periods are irregular,
so that could be another reason I haven't gotten pregnant.
all I can think of is his sperm being defective,
bc the doc said the MC was natural, it was from nothing I personally did.
or maybe I don't ovulate every month?
what do you guys think?

I'm so sorry for your loss I think I'd try to figure out when you ovulated. Whether it be taking temps with a basal thermometer or opks or something similar and keep using the preseed and see what happens ovulation doesn't always occur at the same time every month.. Can be a few days off sometimes so it would really help you to know your fertile times. If you think his sperms count is low, there are herbs and vitamins that can help him. Maybe someone knows which ones.. I can't think tonight. I'd definitely start tracking your cycle though. There are apps that really help.. Many people like fertility friend. Sorry about the rambling. it seems as if im ovulating all month due to my CM.
but the reality is I might not ovulate at all, I might just have a lot of fertile-like CM.
ive been thinking about getting him daily vitamins, the good kind, because I highly doubt hes going to stop smoking cigarettes, hes been smoking for years.

Oh ok quitting smoking would help a lot I think but vitamins may just work!!

Ah OK. Do you check cervix too or just cm? I know many have good luck with opks and can get them super cheap on Amazon or eBay. Might be worth a shot?

checking my cervix the past 2 years didn't change anything.
my cervix changes a lot throughout the month, even day.
its almost always in a "fertile" position, but yet I haven't gotten pregnant yet.

Quitting smoking would help, can he take folic acid too? And vitamins?

Can I ask about PreSeed? I'd only heard good things, now I'm wondering...

preseed is basically a sperm-friendly lubricant that mimics fertile CM to help the sperm travel closer to your cervix and farther up your vagina.
its pH balanced and what not.
but i conceived the first time i ever tried it, ended in a MC.
that was a year ago, been TTC ever since (not using preseed).
this is my first month using PS since then, so far im on my TWW phase.

I use it too. Had a mmc, had a chemical pregnancy last year without anything though. I just wondered why there's worry it causes miscarriage.
