Hey ladies!
I've been around this forum for a while but am I've just made an account and finally have a reason to post and stop creeping! Haha.

My DH (28) & I (25) are TTC #1 for about 6 months. I had a chemical mc last month and only even knew because I went to the ER for an enlarged gallbladder and they drew blood. I was so excited despite being in excruciating pain. It was fun being pregnant for a few days but it ended soon after.

Anyway, I work at a pulmonary clinic. One of our nurses is pregnant with twins (after trying for years!) and our MA is pregnant as well (was also trying). We are all thrilled. But I hesistate to even disclose that I am TTC because 1) one of the girls is having infertility problems for over 2 years now and 2) the clinic is small and REALLY feeling the strain of the uocoming maternity leaves.

Has anyone felt guilty putting their desire to grow your family over others feelings or work?

Honestly, I think it is sort of crossing a boundary to talk about ttc with people at work even if they are your work friends. I have had jobs in the past where I have been really close with co workers and we have all over shared personal info, ultimately it just blurs professional boundaries. If I were you I would keep the ttc journey out of work life until you are pregnant and ready to disclose that.

Also, I think guilt about inconveniencing others tends to be a woman's affliction. Women are raised to put others needs before their own. You deserve to have your own family and your own life.

Welcome to BnB! I look forward to reading your updates!
