Hi all.. My husband and I habe been TTC for awhile now. I had a miscarriage in June 2014, and have recently started going to our local fertility center. We are in our 20s, so I would think it would be pretty easy for us to conceive. After I had a miscarriage l went to my ob/gyn. He did an ultrasound and everything looked good. We are going to have a semen analysis done soon as well as some lab hormonal testing for me. If all comes back with us, our fertility doctor said fermera would be a good place to start. I have been tracking my ovulation and sometimes I get a positive, sometimes I dont. My periods are mostly regular. It has been so frustrating, I would be the happiest person in the world if I became pregnant. So my main questions are: 1.) What are the best/most sensitive ovulation tests? and 2.) What are you thoughts/stories on Fermera(sp.)Thanks so much for your feedback!

Sorry for your loss. :(

How long have you been TTC? 6-12 months of normal cycles (so if it took a few months for AF to reappear after your MC, those months do not count) is considered normal before treating for fertility issues.

I've just been using "babi" brand ovulation dip strips, which are cheap to buy in bulk off Amazon, and they've worked just fine. They do a good job catching my ovulations.

No experience with Fermera.

I had AF the month after I had the miscarriage. Weve been unprotected for 3 years, but have been trying ever since then:( I have no idea as to why it is taking this long. I am just so impatient. Every month I think "this is the month", but then AF arrives :(

So you are on month 6-7? I can definitely understand how it can seem like forever, but you're right on the cusp of the lesser timeframe, so try not to stress about it too much! Stress certainly doesn't help with conception. Hang in there! Hopefully someone else can give you some input on the Fermera.

Hi there! I had a great experience with tracking my basal body temperature using the fertilityfriend app. I learned a lot about my cycles and exactly when I was ovulating. After 4 months of getting consistent charts, I stopped because I felt I had the info I needed. That is the only surefire way to know you ovulated because sometimes you can start to surge and get a positive on an OPK but then not actually ovulate.

Anyway, it's been 11 months for me and I do consistently ovulate but the Dr. wanted me to try fermera with an ultrasound + trigger shot just so they can monitor it. I just started the fermera so I can't report on if it worked or not (although I hope it does!). but I did hear that is has significantly less side effects than clomid. Plus, my insurance covered it at 100% so that was a nice bonus too.

Best of luck to you!! <3
