First thing first - me and my husband have targeted 2013 to have our first baby and been TTC'ing for the last few months.
I am into an IT job, currently working as a consultant for a government sector. And because I realized I like the private sector better I started attending interviews recently.
Having said all that, now I am in a fix whether to continue my government sector job (FYI, am not eligible for any government maternity benefits as I am a consultant) or go with my interests and pursue something in the Private market. I have so many questions running through my mind -
1. What are the pros and cons of me switching jobs and moving to a new company?
2. can i apply for maternity leave few months into my new job?
3. is government sector less stressfull than private?
All this is driving me nuts.....I know I would be the best judge but I really need your inputs ....help!!!
