Hi I currently am TTC for four months. I have been off birth control for about 4 months after being on it for about 9 years. All my periods have been 28 days apart which is good for some sort of schedule, however the first two months off were very light and only lasted about 5 days. The following two periods after that have also been light but lasted for about 13 days. Has anyone else had issues like this after coming off the pill. I am wondering if I am ovulating yet if my periods have been 12 days long even though they are extremly light. I am hoping it goes back to a normal cycle soon. Any advice would be appreciated.

Try tracking your BBT and/or using some LH strips, if you don't have access to an easy dr appointment with some ultrasound.
This is my first cycle after Yasmin (was on it for about 3.5 years) and so far, so good. BBT graph looks fine and LH strips reported the surge on day 13 (afternoon) and 14 (only morning). Pretty good, for coming off the pill. Hopefully, my regular, but long cycles won't come back, I'd be happier to keep it this way, but we'll see.
It differs, of course. For some women, the period doesn't even return on its own and some hormonal therapy is required. For some, it all goes back to where they were before the pill. Then some actually stay with a regular, 28-day cycle they had while they were taking pills.
If you have concerns, ask your doctor. That's by far the best way.
