ok so ive been ttc for a year and a half...with nothing but fail..

i have never taken any vitamins, or tablets or done charts

so i would like to step up a gear and try some methods but i have no idea what to do or to even look out for, so any advice will be greatly appreciated

Hiya :) Do you chart/take your temperature? Or check cervical mucus? Those are both free methods as well as checking cervical position which is a little more complex. Ovulation predictor kits can help too. Otherwise, if you've been having sex very regularly then see your doctor. Good luck :)

Fertilityfriend.com is a great resource for charting info. I use it. When you sign up, there is a charting course that you can do. I would suggest something like that, I was a beginner too when I started on that site.

Hello, my pregs friend recommended wellwoman pregnancare tabs so I take these. OH's been taking wellman conception too (when he remembers GRRR men! I'm also going to start using conceive plus too - a sperm friendly lubricant.

I've read fab reviews about all these vits so I guess they're worth a try. Good luck x

Hiya, I would really recommend the book "taking charge of your fertility" by Toni Weschler, you can get it off Amazon. It's fantastic.

When my hubby and I decided to try and conceive, it didn't work out the first time, usually doesn't hey? And after I got news that it was a failure, I was so disappointed, and I really couldn't stand that disappointment, it hit the sensitive spot where it really hurts, so I gave up. I know right? Giving up after just one month >.> and I pretty much had the attitude of "I won't take any form of birth control from now on, we will just have fun with it, and if it happens then it happens." Next month I found out I was pregnant on my 22nd birthday.

In that second month, I decided to try this trick my friend told me about which worked for her and two other girls I know who were trying to conceive. After your man spills his magic army inside, lift up your hips while still laying down on the bed, and stay that way for at least a minute. I've heard people say that this technique wont make a difference, but when I did it that second month (cuz I hadn't the 1st month) I got pregnant right away. Plus I think the relaxed state of mind put my body into relaxation as well. Having a tense mind with a pressing matter will usually affect your body negatively as well.

Me and oh had been trying for just about a year, about 4 months ago I started taking Vitamin E (good for fertility), a high strength B complex and zinc. Also got oh to take zinc, B complex and vitamin C. Didn't temp, just used an app on my phone to predict ovulation lol, bd 2 days before and after getting bfn's upto 10dpo, finally got my bfp at 11dpo. Good luck to you!!!! X x
