A question for anyone who has had a baby before - were your periods different after giving birth or did they stay the same?
We are TTC our second and my periods have just not been normal after my first.
I got my period back when LO was almost 14 months, and I'm still breastfeeding, which I guess might be the reason for a change, but my periods are absolutely crazy now and I'm worried about what's going on. We are onto month 4 TTC our second and since our LO was a surprise - literally one oopsie and I was pregnant - this whole TTC thing is new to me.
I also have endometriosis - I had surgery to cut it out in 2010 and never had a prob after that, but I'm starting to wonder if it has come back. My periods are horrible, really long and heavy and painful and I'm spotting for a couple of days before them, which never happened before.
Does anyone have any insight in whether this is to do with having a baby previously (caesarean), or because I'm still breastfeeding, or maybe the endo? So confused and worried.
