TTC PCOS and Hypothyroid

Hello. I am just looking for anyone out there who may be in the same boat as me. I am 24 and my husband and I have been TTC for over a year now. About 5 years ago I was diagnosed with PCOS but about 2 months ago I was also diagnosed with hypothyroid. According to my doctor put these 2 together and it makes it pretty difficult to conceive. My periods are never predictable which makes its hard to track my ovulation. I have an appointment with an infertility specialist in a couple weeks but just wanted to see if anyone out there has had the same problems but was able to conceive. I am starting to feel helpless. My husband and I want this so bad. He is in the army so for us timing is everything. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

I too have PCOS and I have Hashimotos (which is the autoimmune disease that is mostly hypothyroid with bouts of hyperthyroid at times) it's not a fun task, but once I got my PCOS under control with weight loss, lifestyle/diet change, and Metformin it's made things easier. I've gotten pregnant 2x's though I've sadly miscarried both times, but at this point I've also found that I have a 3rd issue to deal with in MTHFR. There ARE ladies who have gotten pregnant and had kids with the conditions that both of us have, so don't give up hope. Do they have you on metformin? Are you taking anything for your thyroid?
