TTC this month doing pink sway diet any advice ??

Hi all,
We are planning ttc this next cycle and af due next week. I know its probably a lot of nonsense but I have been reading a lot about what influences sex of baby and thought Id try pink sway diet. So basically eating a calcium and magnesium high diet and going to eat acid producing foods as apparently this changes the ph level to best suit female producing sperm.
I am very blessed to have 3 beautiful boys but thought it might be nice to try and give them a little sister :) after having mc 2012 im honestly just wanting a healthy baby of course and it wild be lovely to have another little boy but I thiught I might as well try. I'm planning to follow shettles methods so dtd 3 days before ov but would be really interested In others opinions and if anyone has tried these and got a little princess :) ive got two teenagers and a 2year old at the min. After a long chat with oh we have decided that we thought it would be nice for youngest to have a sibling closer age for him to grow up with so here we go again 😄 :baby::baby:Good luck to you all and thanks In advance for any replies xx

I've been told trying a few days before ovulation works. Apparently female take longer to travel down to the egg and as sperm lasts for 72 hours it gives us chance to get there before the boys
 
I have two little girls.

This is possibly a wives tale but the good old bog standard missionary position when dtd is supposed to make girls as sperm has further to swim (penetration is not as deep as on top). Female sperm live longer.
(Yes we do other positions lol but I do know those cycles I got pregnant I was a bit lazy and we also definitely dtd a few days before o).
Also I looked at the pink sway diet (after I found out dd2 was a girl and I didn't do the sway diet I was just interested to see how it compared to my actual diet) and my dh and my diet was similar to it).
Hope this makes sense. It's way past my bedtime and my brain is tired).
 
think there are better results with the Low Everything(nutritionally) diet for a girl, the high calcium/magnesium studies were scientifically disproven (I think?) I've always been a blue swayer with the opposite High Everything approach getting me the last 3 little boys:) I know for the 3 little girls before them I as living off of cornflakes, chocolate and pasta so very low nutrition for a long time. Have a quick look through the gender dreaming site, they keep up to date with all the latest scientific studies out there:)

I have 2 boys and 2 girls. Swayed the girls.

Followed the diet, took calcium and magnesium supplement too.

Started sex every other day from last day of bleed and stopped just before ovulation.

When we had boys as they were planned but not gender as did not know about it but as we struggled catching first time when we did one time bang on ovulation. When we tried for no 2 again one time on ovulation.

We swayed and I did the calcium/magnesium and cut out big "boy" foods. Don't remember too much now but I think I cut out apples, bananas and potatoes. Also lots of cranberry juice and took cranberry supplements. Got our donations WAY before O (7 and 5 days before as I Oed super late). Also got lavender soap and a rose quarts bracelet. Could be purely coincidental, but it worked anyhow.
 
I read eating bananas watermelon and pineapple changes ur cm and helps conceive a girl. No idea if it works but im giving that a shot
 
Hi all , thanks for all replies. Well so much for pink sway last few cycles ive been 28 days and day 14 od spot in every time. So we planned to stop bd 3 days b4 then I ovulated 4 days early !! I got no smiley on opk kit in the morning then In the afternoon felt bit funny so tested again and got smiley about 3pm! Checked and bbt had also gone up, I got another smiley next day. I'm thinking that we bd too close!! Bit gutted as put loads of effort in but u never know. In gonna test earlier than planned so fingers crossed lol ..
Hope we get some BFPs soon ladies x pink or blue as long as they are healthy that's what matters , all a blessing x

Ms sunshine, I know theres loads of conflicting Info but I'm sure I've read loads to avoid bananas lol x if I eat any more broccoli I'll look like it yuk !! Ha x it actually turns my stomach to look at it now lol.. Maybe that's a good sign ha x
