Hello I am new to this, so I thought I would start from somewhere! And introduce myself.
I am currently working full time managing a bar and also studying full time to get my degree in Biomedical Sciences. My partner and I have been together for 2 years and we have not long ago moved into a house of our own. He is a butcher  and we both earn more than enough money to be able to bring a child into this world.
Me and my partner have NTNP for I lost count how many months. Although we said we weren't exactly trying, each month I got more angry cause it was not happening. :dohh: My partner is not bothered as we are still young and he is very laid back. Although we have not actually had a sit down conversation about it, I know he wants a baby but is not bothered if it doesn't happen. I'm just really frustrated as two of my very close friends are pregnant and its all baby talk  :baby: It really does suck! Oh and it doesn't help that my partner's brother and his gf just found out that they are expecting. They have had their first scan and even done a lot of shopping. All this just makes me feel very sad. Me and my partner's anniversary is on 1st of May and I would love to give him the surprise of his life but I don't even know if I can conceive! :dohh: Everything has always been kind of normal with my cycle but I never felt the need to go doctor's as we were not exactly trying and I don't want to put more pressure on myself nor my partner by undergoing test etc... I just want it to happen normally so I can surprise him! Last night we came back from a party and he was drunk, just before we fell asleep he said that I would make an amazing mum  it actually breaks my heart that all these people are getting pregnant and announcing it to their partners etc... Sorry about the rant, I'm going to put it down to AF showing her ugly face again this morning. I suppose it is another month and I want to try new and different things this month! So I signed up to this forum :-) Any tips, comments and advice welcome! I could do with it all
Good Luck to everyone that are TTC! I hope you get the BFPs you deserve very soon ladies!!!!

First of all, I know exactly what you're feeling. Really, we all do. It's heartbreaking when everyone else around you is pregnant and it's just not happening for you. It's good to rant about it sometimes.

Now...the thing about NTNP is that if it's not happening yet, it may not necessarily be a problem as much as a timing issue. A lot of girls think they know their cycles but then when they actually start testing for ovulation with OPKs (ovulation predictor kits), they discover they ovulate at a completely different time than they thought. It sounds like you don't want to go all out and do a million different things just yet, but if you were to just add one thing this cycle that would exponentially increase your chances, I would suggest OPK's. That alone would help make sure you're BDing at the right times.

(:

Thank you! I see you're TTC #1 too. It's frustrating cause I actually never thought it would be so hard to conceive. The more I read into it the more complicated it sounds! Good luck to you. Keep me updated :-)

We've been TTC since about September and I didn't know anything about tracking my cycles or BBT until this month when I started doing the research and signed up for this forum. Now I'm very in tune with my body. I'm getting to know what are my specific symptoms for O and AF. I'm also learning how long my cycles are. I think if I keep at it then I'll get a BFP before long.

I was in the same boat as you thinking it wouldn't be hard to conceive. My sister popped 3 kids out in three years no problem so I didnt have a clue it would take me a while longer.

I hope you learn a lot of things on this forum and end up getting a BFP soon!
