I am new to this page and would like some advice please.
I am 26 yrs ols and had polycystic ovaries since I was 18. Me and my partner and TTC sine December 2010.
I already have a daughter who is 4 /12 that I concieved naturally with no help.
After my daughters birth I had a mirena coil fitted which I had out to Dec 2010. I had small spotting when the coil was removed and eventually got my fist period on 7th March 2011.
We are now in Sept and havent seen a period since. Before my coil was fitted my periods were always irregular averaging at 3- 5 months at a time.
Anyway 2 weeks ago beginning of Sept I had a lot of cervical mucas and thought I may be ovulating. This continued for about a week and a half then dried up as such. Last week the 13th Sept I started getting very hot flushes coming and going, very sore and tender breasts, bloating and believed my period was coming. That evening I had spotting of blood and again the next morning - then no more. The hot flushes continued for next few days but still no period. My chest is still sore and I feel very bloated.
I have never had spotting before and usually go straight on to and full heavy period. Because of my ovaries I never know when I ovulate and docs have advised to try for a year before any help such a clomid can be prescribed.
I did wonder if this spotting was a implantation bleed and wondered how soon after this a positive pregnancy test would show. I did a pregnancy test the morning after the spotting and was negative but obviously would be too soon.
If anyone has any ideas or suggestions I would very much appreciate it
