my little girl currently has an ng tube for fluids due to an unsafe swallow. She is 14 months and she has very moor oral motor skills and motor planning. So has restricted solids too.
After her videofluroscopy last week they are now discussing a gastrostomy.
My question is has anyone gone strait to mic key button at this age rather than a peg first? I really don’t want a peg and would prefer a button. But I need I know of this is an unrealistic expectation!
