We decided on Eleanor Rose for a girl.. He admitted last night that he hates it! Why do men say stuff they don't mean? It made me laugh so much, as i'd been thinking how i'd feel about actually naming a baby that! x

Men suck with helping choose a name. My DH is the type to say he doesn't like something when he does - Like I'd suggest something and he'd say no, then a few weeks down the line he's turn round and 'suggest' it to me... Blah!

Thats what they are like though, there are 2 names that i LOVE, one he said he liked and one he didnt now he says he hates them both. But what makes me mad is that they dont come up with anything!!!!!

I love Eleanor, it is on my list as well. I think it is classic and strong and has some cutie nicknames. I also think that in the end, you override anything he thinks and that it is up to you. On the other hand, I am sure you don't want him to hate the name of his daughter (though obviously he will adore the name once he lays eyes on her!) What does he suggest?
