TV in bedrooms

We only have a tv in our bedroom, and thats the only one we have in our house. Our living room is for our music equipment and Jacobs toys etc. We don't watch a lot of tv and when we do it's when we're chilling at night so see no need for a tv anywhere else.

I had one growing up and even before i moved in with my OH, we then had one in our bedroom but didn't really watch it so we gave it away, we now just watch tv downstairs. My brothers and sisters have a tv and i think our baby will have one, i dont see the problem with it

Yes I have a tv in my room but my LO is only 6 months old so know tv in his room lol.I myself did have a tv in my room when I was about 11.xxx

i have one in the living room, one in my room and callum has one in his bedroom for at night when he's falling asleep, he watches a film xx

I have one in my room cos most nights once Holly has gone to bed, I lie in bed watching tv and reading.

Holly will not have one in her room, maybe when she is a teenager but even then I'm not sure.

We don't have one in our room, neither does Tegan, but after we've moved house we will. Not sure how I feel about kids having TV's in their room but we might reconsider in a few years when she asks for one.

Can't see it being used much.

I have one although I don't use it, but I've had dh set it up for dvds as I might spend more time in my room when baby is here. My girls 8 and 11 don't have one but I am considering getting one for them for christmas that is set up for DVDs as I would not mind them watching a film in their room on a rainy day. I don't personally like them for young children, but I suppose it really depends how they are used. I didn't have one until I was a teenager.

i had a tv in my room when i turned 15. i had it in there until i moved out and i wasn't a recluse in my room. my family still ate dinner around the table every night and had plenty of family time.

it was nice to have the option to go into my room and watch whatever i wanted without having to fight over the remote.

Iv had a tv in my bedroom since I was 5, iv never been able to sleep if its silent.
My husband is the same so we have it on in the background while we sleep.
We have the baby in the same room but he doesnt seem bothered by if its on or not but as he gets older he will probably end up the same as us and need background noise to sleep.

Its not always the tv sometimes I have the radio on or a rainstorm cd

I used to have a TV in my room but I couldn't get a goo reception. And Aidan won't be having one in his room until at least 11. It's just not for me. He only goes in his room to play and I wouldn't put it on at night because he would never go to sleep

We have one in our bedroom, we use it quite often. Chloe has one set up only for DVD's and only uses it on weekends now and again, it's hardly been used though as spends more time in the toy room downstairs but it is nice for her to have somewhere to escape and get some peace from Charlotte pestering her x

Mine never just get up and turn theirs on? They dont even pay much attention to it alot of the time lol but its their if we need it etc. It does come in handy x

I had tv in my room when i was little for as long as i can remember.

We have 1 in our room, id have 1 in the kitchen if i could afford one ha.
Amber aint got 1, that will probably be on the list in couple of years time with bulit in dvd player.

I do, its the tv I had when I was a teenager living at home. Rarely even gets turned on...when it dies we won't replace it.

I don't see the need personally because I'd never watch it anyway tbh
My eldest 2 have a tv in their room but they only watch it at weekends or school hols (DVD's) they never watch it on school nights!!! It was my OH who put it in their room and I was really against it tbh, I just made sure they knew when they were and weren't allowed it on!
I wont be putting one in Ollies room, I don't want him getting in to a habbit of wanting to watch tv at bed time at his age especially as he is a good sleeper! There's no need for him to want to sit in his room and watch Tv/dvd's anyway! Yet!
The other two were 5/7 when they had theirs! I think I was about 14 even then I hate to fight my parents for it if I remember rightly as they were stingy gits
