For the past month ive been feeling twinges for the past month. This usually happens to me every month with my ovulation. I had my period 8 days ago, normal no problems, just a half a day shorter than usual. The twinges come and go throughout the day. I never noticed lasting this long. There's no spotting or anything. Im only taking prenatals and folic acid.

Has anyone exp this?

I would like to hear some replies before I make an appt with the doctor.

Thank you :flower:

I've had something similar on the right side, but it always seems to be accompanied by spotting. It isn't related to ovulation. They thought it was a cycst, but I've had a hysteroscopy and they didn't find anything. I haven't gotten any answers about it, but I'm going to keep pressing my doctor. part of me thinks it might be endometriosis, but I'm not sure. I hope you come up with some answers.

Hi Ladies, that's so spooky.... I get the same thing. On my left but I put that down to the IBS and hormones agravating each other. Anyway I just got back form the hospital after a hysterosarpingogram this morning and the Radiographer showed me the images and the left tube is a bit narrower than the right one....until I see the OBGYN I haven't got a clue if this is significant but she didn't seem too worried.
Please keep me posted on any devlopments xx this whole thing is such a puzzle.
Much love and prayers xx

Baxi, that is a test that I want to get. Please let me know what your OBGYN says!

Do you have spotting with yours?

Yes it is a puzzle .

Thanks for the responses, if it continues i'll make an appt.

Hi Heart tree, Good luck in getting the test. I see that you're over in the U.S so maybe it will be easier for you to get one in good time - I had to wait as although the Medics are great over here too there was only one Radiographer in the Hospital who did this test so a longer wait than my Consultant wanted for me . . . . Anyway have to say that I had mine without any pain relief at all and tell the truth if offered pain relief for another one of these I would accept it as I went from feeling A-ok to being in the midst of bad Period pain and cramps - it just seems to start all of a sudden. I was warned by the Radiographer and she was great saying that was what it ought to feel like. That only lasted as long as the exam (about 10 mins) and then just a tender tummy which was fine after a couple of paracetamol (I think I was a bit tense).
It is definitely worth it and I'll let you know what the Consultant says
Love and prayers
Baxi xx

Hi Artic Baby
It is a puzzle for sure but I gotta say that you ladies keep me sane on this....I get so tired of thinking those sad thoughts and thinking it's just me with the problems conceiving but then I read stuff on here and think wow I thought I was the only one with these hurdles.....I see your DH had a low sperm count and your tests all came back good - that's the same as us too. Thank goodness for this site or we might all be thinking we're alone in this and we are not!!
Love and prayers
Baxi xx

Thanks Baxi. My doctor has been very aggressive with testing because I'm 35 and because I've had 2 mcs already without a baby. She's been great. I've already had a hysteroscopy and she didn't give me any pain killers for it. I always advise other women to ask for a pain killer for that procedure. I appreciate your advice for the test you had as well. I agree, it is so much nicer knowing other women have similar issues. Sometimes I think I'm making it up in my mind since they can't figure out what is wrong. But then I hear from other women like you and I realize I'm not crazy! Good luck to you all!

Thanks baxi and heart tree :flower:

Yepp I dont know what I would do without this site
I help keeps me sane :flower:

Hi HeartTree, I just popped on here after a crazy few weeks but just wanted you to know I am so sorry to hear about your loss in July. God bless you sister, just keep holding on, there are such good things planned for you just remember that ;) x

Hi sisters,
just a quick update on the hysterosarpingogram (no idea if that's spelt correctly), the twinges on the left side were nothing to worry about apparently and the consultant says that the tube images on x-ray were fine although i thought i saw one narrower than the other - which he didn't seem at all worried about. So the out come was good and after DH had another sperm test we've been told we can have IUI and if needs be IVF provided I lose 16 pounds!! I've lost 32 already but I'm struggling with this last bit my BMI has to be 30 or under for treatment and is 31.98. I'm dieting, going to the gym and stressed out - any advice on accelerating the weight loss gladly received.
Much love and prayers to you.
xx

Baxi, that is good news for you. I hope you get your bean soon. I'm struggling to get over my most recent loss. My doctor doesn't seem to think my right sided pain is related, but I think it is. I'm seeing a specialist next week and hope to get some answers. I will let you know if they find anything. Good luck to you all.

Good luck with the weight loss:flower:

Ahhhh thank god about the twinges, I still get them. When I ask my doctor about them when we were getting fertility testing done, he says twinges are a good sign during ovulation and a few here and there:thumbup:

Thanks:hugs:
