TWINS??? Please give advice ASAP *Urgently*

Ultrasound at 13dpo revealed two sacs? Im waiting for report and she wouldn't tell me much. She said large uterus, two fluid filled areas, maybe sacs? and that the sacs should be round

i hace a miscarriage last month

Didn't want to read and run. I don't have any advice for you. I have had high hcg levels (two weeks ahead according to charts) with a single pregnancy. The levels can vary so widely. However, if she sees two sacs... the only advice I have is to ask her a yes or no is it twins or do you think it could be twins. She has to be very careful with her wording because she can be held liable, so that's probably why she is skirting around the issue this early. But he's the best person to ask. Good luck!

How many weeks are you? That could be the start of two sacs and it does look like it but it is so early I am surprised they even did a scan. When is your next hcg count?

Yah sorry but if ur hcg is that low, there's no way they saw the sacs already. Someone gave u misinformation. Sacs can't be seen on ultrasound until hcg is above 2000 or until u hit week 5.
Those marks on ur ultrasound could be anything.

Excuse me!!! They are gestation sacs marked out.... I've just heard that maybe my hcg was higher and they stopped growing....

Until 5 weeks. Honey before you go around saying things you no nothing about bite your tongue. Both my kids had just gestation sacs at 3wks. By 5/6 the baby had a heartbeat

No advice sorry. My hcg was 26 at 10dpo and 96 at 12 dpo and 626 at 16 dpo. Im going for a scan next Wednesday . The levels arent unusually high but in the normal range id say . Youll have to see if your levels double when you go back to recheck hcg and hopfully theyll send you for a repete scan too .

With my son i had a small bleed at 6 weeksm US showed one baby with a heartbeat and a second empty gestational sac. Three daya later my ultrasound showed just one sac with one baby.

I am inclined to agree that typically it takes 4-5 weeks to see a sac, but everything depends on your pregnancy and your body. I also think they cannot decide you stopped growing/progressing over a few days and one hcg test. Try not to panic just yet. And you might want to look into a second opinion if your insurance allows it

EXACTLY what you said... seems there are some people so quick to say "impossible " when stranger things have happened, and "perfectly normal" when it may not be.. we are not drs and even if we are, we don't diagnose on this forum... we just give the best advice and support support support!!!!

For me... I got my BFP 14 DPO and I had a Dr. appt the same day so when I told the Dr. I had some side pain she decided to do an US to confirm and make sure it was not etopic. I was able to see the gestational sack, which would have put me at about 4 weeks-ish. They also did a beta blood test and the first was 120 and then 2 days later it was 361. Both the test were still very early so what you're going through could be right on. I hope you get a good # for beta #2. Good luck!

Base beta levels are not a reliable indicator of twins or the health of a twin pregnancy. A follow up scan in a few weeks would give you more definitive answers. I hope that things work out the way that you want them to.

Good luck, what a worrying and exciting time for you! I hope your numbers continue to rise beautifully. It is very early to have a scan, but amazing that they saw what could be the start of two gestational sacs. Something to be aware of though, and I mean this in the gentlest way just to prepare that this might happen, is that they've been spotted so early, that the next time you have a scan one might not be there. It's believed that a lot more pregnancies start as twin pregnancies, but then one is lost by the time a scan happens (normally at a much later date than your scan). I sincerely hope this doesn't happen to you and a huge congratulations (and a massive sorry for your previous loss), but it is something to be aware about as you grapple with what's going on x

In my personal experience, when my HCG was 240 at 21DPO with our son the doc said to me "i dont see much of anything going on in your uterus" .. it wasnt until week 5 that a very small sac was seen
