I just had my first ultrasound on Wednesday and found out that we are having twins. I was completely shocked when the nurse told me. I still can't believe that we are having twins. I am only 8 weeks along so I don't know what sex the babies are yet. I do know that they are probably identical because they are in the same sac with a membrane separating them. I would like to hear from anyone else who is having or has had twins. I want to know what you are feeling? I'm not really having to much morning sickness. I have actually thrown up only once since I have been pregnant. Is this normal, especially with twins? I have been very tired, and hungry all the time. Please let me know if this is normal.

wow :baby:

fantastic :headspin:

congratulations and all the best :hi:

How very exciting. My husband really is hoping I am carrying twins. If I am they will be fraternal, not identical. We will find out tomorrow when I go for a dating sonogram. Since my ex-ob/gyn did a sonogram when I was not even 5 weeks, and told me that it looked like I ovulated out of both sides, there is a chance. I am not really sure which way I am hoping it goes.

Congratulations!! I think my DH would faint if we were to have twins.

CONGRATS! We were hoping I was having twins cause of the fertility drugs, but at least I got preggers. Good luck to y'all!

Congrats :)! I was worried I'd be having twins, being a twin myself. Skips a generation though. 100% sure there's only one from scans!

 Congrats on the Double Bump!!!

Well double congrats to you!

I ahve to say its lovely news, but if someone told me that I don't know how I would cope, Im not prepared at all.

Not sure abou the sickness or tiredness but pregnancy afects everyone differently. Maybe mention it to your doctor if you're worried?

How cool!! TWINS!!
I wish I have twins! the best!!

Congrats!!

Congratulations on joining a very special club! :happydance:

I read your symptoms and thought "SNAP!". I was exactly the same. I wasn't sick at all during my pregnancy although I felt a bit nauseous from time to time. I felt tired pretty much all the way through (it gets better after they're born but they can be pretty tiring!) and blumming starving until I got to the 3rd tri and couldn't fit any food down and lost all my appetite.

Lots of people expect you to be extra sickly or extra big with twins, but I didn't find it the case nor have other twin Mum's I've been in touch with since.

That Is So Exciting!!! Congrats On Your Twins! :)
