this is my bfp top one is 9dp 2nd is 11 dpo 3rd 14dpo the 3rd the poss line is darker then the test line. so so happy xxx just to ask do you think the lines are really dark for how many dpo i am. was thinking twins. i have 12 sets of twins in my and oh family. me been a twin my self my dad been a twin, my dads twin had twins and it gos on and on like that in my family. what do you think. thank you love tink xxxx

Hiya, wow that's a lot of twins Lol I can see why you are wondering!!

I don't know if the darkness or progression of the lines indicates twins as such but I tested using a first response test on 9dpo and the pregnancy line was exactly as dark as the control line, similar to your 3rd picture. I didn't test again so can't comment on it getting darker over the days but it couldn't really have darkened! I remember thinking that was strange duh!!!! But like I said, I'm not sure this means you're not having twins, it was just my experience!

But whether you're carrying 1 or 2 babies I wish you a happy healthy 9 months! Pls keep us posted! Xx

Pregnancy tests are NO indication whatsoever. I didn't get a dark second line until 8 weeks into my twin pregnancy.

The fact you are a twin and they're on the female side of your family however, does put you at a higher chance of having them.

Congrats on your pregnancy! I had a light line on my test @ 13dpo. My HCG levels were low-ish too. Please update after your 1st ultrasound! It's the ONLY way to know. You do have lots of twins in your family, so I would be suspicious too.

There is no way to know until you go for a ultrasound. Until then everything else is just speculation.

With the twins I didn't get a line until 14dpo. I did a first response before this and no line showed up. With DD2 I did a first response and a line showed up at 10dpo.

My lines were very faint. As the others have said the fact u have alot of twins on ur side gives it a better chance.

Are u hoping for twins?

Those tests have nothing to do with it, tho with your history it would be very unsurprising if you did end up with twins at some stage!
