Hi all,
I am currently on my two week wait. My DH and I have gone the route of fertility meds as I have PCOS. I used Letrozole, Gonal F, a trigger shot on Saturday evening and had an IUI yesterday. I am 34 and he is 37. His sperm count was apparently really good after the wash (185 million) and the morphology and motility were good as well. I am feeling pretty positive about this. I had two follicles on my right during my last ultrasound on Friday. They were 1.6 and 1.8 and they wanted me to take the rest of my Gonal F pen (50 iu) I guess to help complete the process of maturation. What do you think? Do you think I have a good chance??? Is there anything I can do over the next couple of weeks so I don't obsess?
Additional information: I am 5'0 and 102 lbs. Last January I got pregnant with everything I did this time without the iui. Sadly, we miscarried and 5.5 wks (which is common for women with pcos) I have lost 10lbs since then and really control my diet. I have a very low carb diet and try to eat whole foods. Any suggestions? Any input or insight would be fantastic. I really feel like we have a good chance. I know ultimately God is in control and am thankful He has given Science as a means to use!!!
