hi ladies!
I haven't been on here since I lost my tiny bean in november at 9 weeks. I got the Mirena IUD put in immediately after because OH and I decided we really weren't ready and although we were okay with that unplanned surprise, we'd rather it not happen again until we were sure.
I don't know what forum to post this in, but because I'm sort of in a TWW limbo I thought here would be alright. I've had the mirena in since november, it's basically worked as described. minimal periods (more like a spot every month) and nothing out of the ordinary. I had my af for this month, I'm thinking I'd be about 7 dpo right now. (I haven't been keeping track of my cycle because I thought I wouldn't have to!)
boobs have been incredibly sore, I'm hungry and tired, and have spotted randomly which never happens. haven't had sore bbs since my pregnancy in the fall. has this happened to anyone else? It could very well be side effects of the IUD but they came on so suddenly, and the timing is exactly as an early pregnancy would go.. I'm suspicious. and hopeful! we're about to make a move out of state, OH is getting a better job...things would work out pretty well if it happened to be positive.
obviously if I ended up getting a positive HPT it would be high risk due to the mirena.. but I have heard just about as many success stories as bad ones. I just want to know what's going on in there!
so.. come tell me I'm crazy or if this has happened to you or anyone you know. thoughts on IUD? I think I'd rather go back to non-hormonal birth control methods/NTNP if I am going to be tracking cycles/taking HPTs anyway!
