Hey
I'm Type One Diabetic and just wondering if all the stories/experiences are true about pre excisting diabetics and their labours; that they are on a monitor and can't have their birth plan how they liked?
I'd like to have a water birth but I know I'll be on a sliding scale insulin drip and possibly baby monitors!
I honestly don't want to just be stuck on the bed on my back making the pregnancy longer: I want to be active and helping ignore the pain :/
Any advice? X
