Didn't want to read and run! I've looked and I couldn't find any, but there might be some. Hopefully someone else can help you more.

where i live we have the WIC program. its a food program type thing, not the same as food stamps/ebt and it helps you buy formula too. dont know if that is what you were looking for.

What do you mean by grants? Like college or?
Like MrS. MaBrEy said, there's WIC which is kind of like food stamps where it allows you to eat nutritiously before giving birth and then feeds you up to 6 months after birth if you formula feed or 1 year if you breast feed. Also, after giving birth, they give you money for formula and food for your baby until he/she is 5 years old. You have to be making less than $2,000 a month.

There's also Medicaid if you can't afford health insurance. If you or your OH again make less than $2,000 you are normally eligible. A little tough to sign up but worth it.

There's housing assistance and a lot of programs out there, I'm just not sure what you're looking for specifically. Try looking it up by your state! :flower:

grants... we don't call anything but college grants, grants, in the US. you can sign up for WIC, and get checks for free food that is nutritionally valuable to pregnant women, infants and children. usually there is a limit on your income. i think it differs in each state. you can sign up for medicaid to cover all of your prenatal costs/delivery. it takes around a month or more to get approved though. once again, there is a limit to your income. and if you are eligible for medicaid, more than likely you'll be eligible for food stamps.

No, in the US I don't think there is any such thing as a "maternity grant". I'm not sure if you have universal healthcare and more options like that out there, but we don't. We do have programs though for new mothers in need such as WIC which stands for women infants and children that helps pay for certain food items. There are also benefits one can apply for like food stamps and medical care.
