I've never voted before as I never really understand it all

Who are you voting and what are the reasons?

I want to use my vote this time but don't really have a clue

I'm voting labour for me it's important to look at the manifesto rather than the people and to vote for the party that most aligns to my ideals and beliefs.

I would struggle to ever vote conservative because fundamentally I disagree with the party policies but I try to keep an open mind about it.

I'm voting Labour. I've always agreed more with Labour policies, and I wouldn't vote Conservative.

I'm also voting labour. Their manifesto and beliefs are something that align with what I agree with.

I try to stay respectful of people's difference in political views but struggle very much to understand why anybody would vote conservative.

I'm voting labour too and am starting to feel optimistic that perhaps they have a chance of winning. I agree CRWx that I am respectful of everyone's viewpoints but struggle to understand why someone would vote Conservative (unless they are very rich! :haha:)

I think Labour's manifesto is brilliant, tax the very rich and big corporations to put an end to austerity, put lots more money into education and the nhs and give everyone hope, opportunities and the chance to improve their lives by increasing the minimum wage, scrapping University tuition fees, increasing childcare provision, the list goes on...

And then there's the conservatives who want to take away universal free school lunch meals (after well documented evidence that it improves concentration levels and has been helping with childhood obesity), have a vote to reintroduce barbaric fox hunting, take away heating grants for old people, reduce corporation tax, continue austerity even though the country is in significantly more debt since the Conservatives came to power, fill everyone with fear and worry so they continue to work hard and struggle along :(

The deadline to register to vote is tonight at midnight, the conservatives are ripping our society apart, more people than ever are in poverty and relying on food banks :( I hope that the masses can see that labour have created a manifesto to benefit the many and not the few...here's hoping to a fresh start and positive changes for all :D

xx

I am voting Labour. My beliefs align with them & the policies that they wish to implement.

After reading both manifestos (Labour & Tory), Labour's make sense to me. They have explained how they will be costing each of their proposals. Conservatives haven't costed a single thing despite absolutely slating every other party for their costings.

Thank all I've registered today and it's the final day!

I'm siding with labour also

Labour. Several years ago I was a conservative voter, I didn't really understand and followed my family trend. I have much more of an interest and understanding now and definetly side with Labour policies and manifesto as does DH.

Labour. I agree with their policies and they seem to want to look after the little people which is important. I'm hopeful they have a chance but I don't think it's likely :(

I'll be voting labour because I agree with their policies most.

Voting labour. They have a fantastic manifesto and we need the NHS to be saved.

Labour. Their policies are feel will benefit more people than conservatives would, in not the biggest fan of Cronyn but I'm not of May either and labours policies win hands down for me.

Labour for me. I would be surprised to see many people vote conservative on a forum like this though, considering the majority are women and we are the most affected by the cuts that conservatives keep doing. I really worry about the NUS if conservatives are allowed another period in power.

I'm torn as a business owner it makes no sense for me to vote labour wages cripple small business a lot going bust all ready most have had to let staff go. increase in wages will kill small businesses.
I wont be voting labour even though some of his policies I agree with. who I will vote I'm not sure yet.

I will be voting for Labour for the first time ever, but I don't think they stand a chance.

I'm also voting labour, I'm not a fan of Jeremy Corbyn, they're the best of a bad bunch imo
