UK Government Petition to give those who have had m/c NHS reassurance scans

At the discretion of the trust....I've just found at nearly 10 weeks, that my bean never made it past 6 and I had a mmc, and been told no chance for a reassurance scan next time. If i want a scan before 10 weeks - more likely 12, I have to go private. I only got one at 10 weeks this time as 12 was xmas week and they are shut.

mine are always nhs and always at 6 weeks.. i didnt even ask i was told i was going for them... i find it wrong they dnt offer all women them tbh

me too sweetie....thats why I think the petition is a good idea...at least its a start x

I signed it i think its very very important that us ladies should be given the chance and the peace of mind that everything is going well and if we want scans from 6 weeks we should be allowed them. I think in some areas of the UK its different rules for different doctors or hospitals wether or not they scan you more than just your 12 weeks scan.
So sorry ladies for your losses it not fair we shouldnt have to be going through this.

I have signed it, I totally agree with having reassurance scans when we have been though all this heartache, to move forward will be hard and we need this reassurance.
I have been quite lucky where I live has they had been scanning me quite regular.

ive added my name too, i lost my baby 2 weeks before my scan at 13 weeks...next time i want to demand an earlier scan so i know all is well as worrying will not be good for bubs Xx ps im going to forward to my work colegues too X
