UK mums to be - Pound Shop Pregnancy Tests - excellent!

Just a bit of advice for UK mums to be. The best pregnancy tests that gave me a BFP two days before First Response picked anything up were the midstream urine tests from the 99p shop - called Clear Response (not the strip tests, although they were quite sensitive too, gave me a BFP one day before missed period). If you have a 99p store in your town - there's no point on wasting money on First Response. Their tests are brilliant (they were on offer, too, two for 99p). Baby dust to you all ))

I used Clear Response from the 99p shop (I think Poundland and 99p store are not quite the same, lol). But I'm sure their tests are quite similar

Can I ask if these tests were blue dye or Red dye? I've heard the Blue dye tests give a lot of evaps.

My friend was 6 weeks pregnant and got a on them, we were just testing them out for fun. Also got IC's apparently 10miu, I tested with one which came up 2 days after my Hcg trigger shot. I'll never trust the cheap strips again.

They are pink dye... I was really surprised how sensitive they were (the mid-stream ones). I'm 7 weeks pg, so they were spot-on

Thanks for that! I might have to pop in and pick some up to add to my collection! It seems that all tests get mixed reviews from the cheapest to the most expensive so for the price I'm definitely happy to try them! The only tests that I avoid are the blue ones!
