I really do not know what nursery furniture to get. OH and i are moving house in a few weeks so from a one bed flat to a three bed house which means baby can have a nursery after all...yay! Dilemma is what to buy.
I am really in love with the tutti bambini marie set in walnut :cloud9:

and do not want anything else. Only problem is every review i have ever found about tutti bambini does not appear to have anything complimentary to say about their customer service. :growlmad:
I am trying to look for an alternative but am not having much luck. I really wanted a set in a dark walnut colour. Any suggestions? what do you have?
Sorry non Uk ladies have left you out of this thread as i do not want to know about your gorgeous furniture that i can never get!

There is a sleigh set in babies r us which is very similar in the same colour! I love this style n if nursery was a bigger room I'd go for this! x

is the bad customer service from the manufacturer? i've seen this set in tesco and they will asseble it for you on delivery too!

We have got a white set as im doing the room pink and white, we went to ikea as i find it hard to trust anywhere else for furniture and never had any problems with ikea so we have got this set https://www.ikea.com/gb/en/catalog/categories/series/11937/ i cant believe the price it is aswell! great bargain i think :D x

i have heard bad things too.

we went for john lewis cotbed with ikea chest of drawers, both in white and they look lovely!

cotbed was £160 and chest of drawers £45! bargain

Bad service is from the manufacturer. Someone on this forum mentioned that they bought something from Tutti Bambini in Tesco but when things went wrong Tesco refused to deal with it and referred them to manufacturer which is where the fun and games began.

I read that! I'd be weary as u are spending a lot of money on it! Thers lots of places that do dark walnut colour furniture so ur best goin to the big shops first to make sure what type I want n test how sturdy they are! Try mothercare n mamas n papas n stuff, u obviously don't have to get them from ther but it gives u an idea x

We have got built in wardrobes so have a got a white mamas and papas cotbed and white drawers and shelf from ikea as I figured it would probably take a bit of a beating what with a toddler bouncing around.

I got the Rialto set from Mamas and Papas and I am sooooo happy with it. It all looks great in her room. Not so good for you though as it is in oak..............................sorry, pretty pointless me posting haha :)

I like the Tutti Bambini too, but I've heard nothing but bad things about them too. I ended up with the Toys R US sleigh bed. It's still in the box though, so I can't comment on the quality yet.

i have the cosatto alto cot bed in dark walnut. its beautiful and has matching furniture to go with the cot. its sturdy and has an adjustable matress height as well as a dropside. not overly exoensive. we pain £195 for the cot from our lical nursery centrep

anyway, here's a link to cosatto site

i love it and the dark walnut is very rich and expensive looking xxx

We've got the Tutti Bambini Barcelona set from Tesco, and have found it great!

The products were all really well wrapped and undamaged, we had extra fixings (screws etc) in case we broke any.

It was easy to put together, in fact OH and I had a huge arguement while assembling the changing table and draws and he stormed off :growlmad:

I did it all myself, including the rocking chair, stool and cotbed!!!!
Showed him, git!!!

Lol, we have made up now!

But honestly I love my furniture and wouldn't change it at all very happy :happydance:
