Hey everyone. I just wanted to touch base with any of you pregnant ladies to see if anyone has colitis/proctitis?
I was diagnosed back in 2009 and have been on and off with flareups. I wasn't in a flareup right before the pregnancy, and then once pregnant I flared right up and it's been getting worse over the last couple months.
I've been taking 3 200mg tabs of Asacol 3x a day.
Today, my doctor prescribed me prednisone for the next three weeks. Have any of you been on steroids while pregnant? He told me that it should be relatively safe for the time I'm on it, but I cant help but worry.
To top it all off, I was told today that I failed my 3 hour glucose test, so I am now considered to have gestational diabetes.
I just feel really overwhelmed and wanted to touch base with some of you ladies on this topic.
