Ultrasound experts?

This was at 6 weeks- the tech said that everything looked fine, and although I was having spotting, she saw no signs of bleeding from my uterus in the u/s. There was the tiniest flicker of a heartbeat (thank God!!). So my question is, what the heck are those two things hanging down? I've searched through a ton of early u/s's online and haven't seen that in any of them. Does anyone know? I'm not worried, just curious.

Sorry, I didn't want to read and run even though I don't have an answer for you.

It's not bleeding because bleeding and clots come up looking black.

I'm no expert but I have had a TON of scans and I often find that the printed pictures come out looking weird. They are a snapshot and sometimes other structures get in the way of the image.

Don't really know but compared to my 6 week u/s and what the tech wrote....where you have yolk sac and baby would just be the yolk sac and the other part would be baby. But again.....I'm only guessing based on my scan picture! Good Luck!
