Ultrasound monitoring clomid!

Hi girls
I have posted this thread alredy in ttc section but had no responses yet and was told to try and put it in here to see if i get a better response....well this afternoon I had a call from the nurse and she wants me to come in this friday for my ultrasound which i agreed was fine for me to come then but now im thinking isnt that abit early is anything going to show? i will be on cd 11 on friday but will there be any visible folicles that early? anyone been before and could give me some info would be much apprieciated. Thanks x

p.s abit nervous now knowing im going for a scan friday last time i went for an ultrasound they told me my baby had died and i had a missed misscarriage its scearing me abit now

I start my scanning on CD10, I think CD11 is perfect! Good luck! Keep positive thoughts rolling ... I know it's hard!

Hiya I went in on cd10 and they saw 3 folices 2 on my left and 1 on the right side. The nurse also told me that I would be ovulating in the next week so to BD as much as possible. Hope it goes well friday xx

p.s dont be scared, its a really simple procedure and they are great all they are needing to see if is if the clomid has worked and if it hasn't then they are able to so something about it earlier rather then later. I was only allowed the scan on the 1st cycle not sure if its the same for everyone else, but I persume if it has worked once then it will work also. Also the nurse did say to me when I asked so has it been succesful is that its only sucessful if you achieve pregancy. A friend of a friend was on clomid after a couple of miscarriages (she had a little girl a few years before) and it worked for them in month 3 xx

Don't be nervous! I am almost done my first round of cycle monitoring on clomid and I had daily bloodwork and ultrasounds from cd 10 through cd 12 and then cd 14 to confirm ovulation. It is totally normal to be having the ultrasounds when they have asked you to come in.

thanks girls! i am scared incase they find anything that shouldnt be there i.e cyst or something more i dont know why i think that but i think its more the issue of bringing back memories of when i was told i had lost my baby as that was the last time i had an ultrasound!

I really hope it looks all good and have some good folicles but i really dont think anything good is going to come of it, i think ive started to give up hope i have always felt like im one of those unlucky people and i am always negitive (my OH says i am) i dont mean to be i just always think bad luck comes to me all the time.....

ill let you know how i get on x
