Ultrasound today

So I went to the doctor my midwife refered me to for an ultrasound. The only problem is she does not do diagnostic US. But she did refer me to a doc who does, so I will be seeing him next wednesday.

But she did give us a look at the LO, and she said from what she could tell the heart looked perfect. The head was nice and round. And there was nothing she could see that concerned her. She did say the placenta was a bit low, but not so low she was worried.

Of course my LO was being difficult, so we didn't get a good profile pic. The baby's head was way down in my pelvis, stinky baby!!

I will post the one photo she gave us when I can get it scanned.

As lovely as it was to see my baby, I was disappointed that it was not the full diagnostic US I have been waiting for so long for.

Sorry you didn't get to get the full diagnostic US. But hey you'll get to see your baby one more time right? Glad everything looked good.
