understanding leave after maternity

Good evening

i wonder if anyone can help me. I have been on maternity leave for 39 weeks now so my smp has stopped. I handed in my resignation a month before my smp was due to run out and i was supposed to get my p45 today along with the holidays i had accrued! I got zero. I haven't spoken to them yet but am i entitled to get my holiday now or do i have Ty wait until the full year ip over? Sorry for spelling using my phone x

Hi as far as I am aware you should still have been accruing holidays. I was off for the full year and when I went back I had holidays to take. I would def check it out. X

You are entitled to any holidays you have accrued whilst on maternity leave up until the point your employment ceases. They owe you any holidays you haven't taken.

it coule be its coming next month but i would check. I cant remember how quick i got my holiday after i handed in my notice

my old job, if it went to a new yr and u hadnt taken the holiday ( even if on maternity) then u lose it. I had to make sure i quit my job before the yr end so i would get paid it, even then they 'forgot'!! bloomin typical hey!
