I think it's adorable, I like Wispen Rose. I'm thinking of naming my girl Emelina Hope, which is also uncommon lol. I think it sounds like Thumbelina

I'm normally not a big fan of made up names, but Whispen could work. It sounds namey. I'd probably pair it with a more conservative middle name - because your daughter has a conservative middle name, and because I just generally think people should have a "fallback" name if one name is unusual.

I'm not too keen on nature names myself. 99% of the time I hear someone who named their kid something naturey and I'm just like what?

What did Kelly Clarkson name her baby? River Rain or something like that? It just made me LOL when I heard it, sometimes I feel like people try too hard to have a unique name.

Whispen is pretty. I think you need to go for a regular name for the middle name as the first name is so unique. As long as you live the name it doesn't matter if others like it. The easiest way around opinions from friends and family, is to wait til baby is born to tell them the name.
