Unmedicated cycle, then Letrozole

So, I saw a Nurse Practitioner who runs the Infertility Clinic at my clinic. She wants me to take this cycle, un-medicated, to let my ovaries calm down and relax after 6 cycles of Clomid. She actually wanted to put me on Birth Control Pills for this cycle, but because I get Migraines, she said she couldn't.

So now, we are taking this cycle off of Fertility Treatment, but not actually stopping TTC. Then, we will start my first Letrozole cycle!!! So excited and hopeful!!!!

I just wanted to share my good news!!!! Thank you for anyone who reads this!!! I'm just so excited and hopeful!!!

Good luck on your journey with Letrozle! I hope things happen right away for you, but some advice if they do not. My first cycle (@ different times - had to stop TTC multiple times due to MC) on Letrozle I would respond to 2.5 but that would quickly stop working and now I am up to 10 (I have lost count of how many cycles, I believe 10 total) - so do not hesitate to ask for a higher does if things are working. BUT I hope that is a non issue for you!

Thanks! Im pretty sure she said that the first cycle would be 5mgs instead of 2.5! Thanks so much for the advice!

Oh nice! That is good they are starting you off on 5. I like it WAY more than Clomid (but Clomid made me crazy! lol).

Lol I didn't have many issues with Clomid.. Just bad hotflashes!

Good luck, I have ovulated every cycle of femara! I like it alot better than clomid!
