Unsuccessful sweeep :( UPDATED PG 1 & 2.. :)

I am more disappointed then the day I failed my driving test for the 2nd time

Went to my midwife today for a sweep, and she said and I quote "I can feel ur cervix is ripe, and theres something going on in there, but its just not quite open enough for me to perform the sweep to the best of my ability"

She did the best she could with what she was working with and booked me another one in just over a week. So lets just wait and see what happens.

Im not expecting any miracles however

How did you get her to do one? sure my midwife wont do them til 41 weeks

Ill be bribing my midiwfe to do one earlier rather than later lol

Yea like my signature says "If madam needs to cook, she shall cook".. Aslong as at the end I have my gorgeous baby looking up at me what harm is she doing by staying in abit longer.. I may be uncomfortable and abit miserable buh shes happy and that makes me happy x

Why stop there? I'm going to be BEGGING on Friday! Just wait til she sees how hard it is for me to get down on my knees to do so

UPDATE:

Talk about raaandom.. Got a few blood clot type things, midwife says its normal and to keep an eye out for irregular pains that turn regular..

Hope somethings happening Buh not gonna hold my breath with the way madam goes on lol one day shes coming then shes not again lol

aww hun im having my first sweep later today as im now 6 days overdue and can totally relate i will be soo dissapointed if nothing happens but as the saying goes they will come when they are ready whenever that will be

Ohhhh dont u HATE this ridiculous game labour plays with u!!

Started feeling an achyyy pain in my back last night which eventually came round in waves to my stomach,, had a hot bath and was still getting them which was "gooood"

Had what I thought was my "clear out", got into bed tryna relax, my legs were aching, and bump was tightening buh I managed to get some sleep, woke up this morning and it was all gone!!! NOTHING!!
