unsure of what im entitled to

hi just wondered if anyone can help

i called my local job centre today but was advised to call Department of work and pensions so i did and the woman asked a few questions and said she will send out claim forms for Maternity Allowance but after asking her what this was and looking it up im sure im NOT entitled to it

i live with my OH i finished a college course in june (havent worked since Nov' 2007) OH works full time we pay full rent+full council tax which is £350 month i am due first baby this thursday

i know i can claim child benefit after LO arrives and that OH may be able to get working tax credits but i tried Benefits adviser on direct gov website and its wasnt able to tell me just wanted to know if anyone can explain in simple terms as i think pregnancy brain has kicked in again

You will deffinatly be intitled to child benefit and if your not working you can claim income support from when your 29 weeks pregnant, you may get child tax credits and working tax credits

You will get working and child tax.. But nothing else Hun x
