I am going to write a full birth story with all the gritty details sometime soon and put it in the Birth Announcements area (I'll link it here), but just wanted to post that I had my baby! Established labor was 11 hours-ish and started about 10pm Monday, I checked my cervix about 4am and I thought it was about 2cm. I called L&D around 5am and they said I could come in if I wanted, but it's a good thing I did! I lost my mucus plug at 6am, got to L&D by 6:30, nurse checked me at 7am and I was 6cm! My waters broke shortly after, almost all over OH's shoes since I was standing and leaning on him during a contraction. I sat in a nice warm bath for about 45 minutes when I felt like a needed to push so I got out, got on the bed, they called the on call doctor in case my doctor couldn't make it but my doctor got there about 15 minutes later. I apparently pushed spontaneously for an hour though it did not feel like that long at all and.....

baby Eleanor (Ellie) Louise T. was born at 9am on her due date!! I tore quite badly (3rd degree) since she came out so fast but I got all stitched up and am healing nicely.

We came home today!
