maybe it was a strong implantation bleeding? i'd avoid tampons in this case as it's harder to estimate how much you're bleeding and the color of it as well, plus if you are pregnant, using tampons can increase the risk of infections.

in any case, considering your first post, i think pregnant or not, this little event (unsure about being pregnant or not) really showed you how much both you & OH want a baby and that whatever your current situation is, it is not unresolvable to the point of not having a baby now anyway

I'd call your doctor and get bloods done if you can. I agree...it does seem like you really want to ttc if you're not pregnant. Can you start ttc now if you're not? xx

So I took a test this morning...

I'm kinda relieved though... I've got a lot going on right now so being pregnant would just throw everything off curb right now...

Thing is I can't take BC and my husband doesn't like condoms so I guess we'll be NTNP section....

The "Withdrawal Method" is actually supposed to be very effective, if the man does indeed withdrawal. Best of luck to you.
