Pinktulip I am so sorry if my post caused any offence- someone seems to have misinterpreted what I put in my original post. I certainly was not saying that I thought you were miscarrying, but I did not want to just dismiss your fears entirely, as it is ONE possibility; as I did state there ARE other possibilities too and of course I very, very much hope that all is well. Having suffered 2 miscarriages myself I was trying to be honest as I know that I would never have wanted anyone to just dismiss my fears entirely without any medical evidence that all was well. I really, really hope that all is well with you and your baby.

I had a MASSIVE clotty, thick, bright red bleed on the night after my 12 week scan. Was convinced it was all over - it was much worse than your pic. Went in for another scan two days later to see a healthy baby and a little haemorrhage on the lining of my womb. Totally normal and nothing to worry about. Please don't resign yourself to bad news. Get on the phone to EPAU tomorrow morning and get your mind set at ease xx

:hugs: Good luck and keep us updated. Chances are its absolutely nothing at all. I think most women have a spot of bleeding at some point in their pregnancy.
:hugs:

It's ok lou15 I totally understand u wasn't trying to hurt me I know it could go with way

Thanks ladies xxxx

Hi for last 2 weeks iv had same only darker brown I'm not far off you go up hospital asap you wont stop worrying until then but I'm awaiting the all clear by scan on Tuesday they said my cervix was closed and looked like breck through bleeding didn't have this with any others and was heavy and gloopy like snot

Good luck xx

Oh sweetheart, please dont stress about it until you know for sure. Ive just passed my 11weeks and I still get cramps, but the baby has strong heartbeat and is in the right place.

Dont feel the need to apologise for the pic, it means people with experience can relate and give you much better and clearer idea.

prayers are with you, but I really dont think you have too much too worry about at the min, stay positive and we will be positive with and for you.

You really need to go to A and E, for peace of mind more than anything.
Depending on your hospital they may give you open access to the ward, which has happened to me this weekend. I have feel like I have never been away this weekend. Fingers crossed its all ok for you x

I had a brown bleed - "gushy" at times at 4 and 8 weeks. It settled both times and my bean has a hb. It doesn't always mean the end. I know nothing anyone can say will make you feel better but please don't feel alone. Hope you get reassurance tomorrow :hugs:

You should post this im miscarriage support they most likely have more experince and advice for this kinda thing..........either way i bleed too but turns out my baby was fine..did u have sex? ..........as long as the bleeding doesnt get any worse i think you will be okay but to be sure make an appt with your obgyn for a emergency scan

Hi no I haven't had sex in a while now

The cramping has got worse feels like really tight pains that come and go hurts I've tried to lay down but it hurts so am sat on the toilet

Your support means a lot and I will get checked tomorrow xx

Don't be saying that! You should never think the worst!
It looks like watery blood too me, I had this, went to get checked and the midwife just said it's pink discharge (discharge with blood in essentially) from your cervix where everything is stretching and it's perfectly normal. Don't worry too much, just make sure to get checked x

Sorry you are going through this hun :hugs:

From what I understand brown blood is not as bad as fresh red blood. I would also suggest that you go to a&e to get things checked out. I really hope everything is o.k.

I'm sorry you are so scared :hugs: You say you've had a scan already, have you seen the heartbeat? The risk of miscarriage goes down considerably once you have seen a fetal heartbeat, so it may not be over. Did you say you had a bleed before too? I'd definitely get it checked out, I went last week to the out of hours due to bleeding and they just referred me to early preg unit the next day for a scan. Ring them in the morning and get a scan booked, I hope everything is ok :hugs:

Yes I saw the heartbeat at 6w5days and had a bleed then room now 8w1day and more bleeding pinkish x

Awwwww wishing u all the best. I had brown spotting (well was far worse than spotting) looked similar to yours for quite a few weeks through the start of my pregnancy. It didn't really ease up until I was around 10 weeks and as u can see everything was ok good luck I really mean it xxxxx

Awww hunnie sooo sorry your going through this :hugs:

Any sign or any bleeding whilst pregnant is just the most stressful and hurtful thing to witness. Like some of the girls have said though, some women in pregnancy just bleed, sometimes there is a reason and sometimes there just isnt.

Your bleeding looks watery/pink to me, which to me is a good sign, that its not bright red/thick and lots of it... Sometimes when pregnant and the mucus plug is forming etc, this cant create lots of mucus in the vagina, sometimes it can cause the cervix to be irritated and due to the fact there is alot of blood vessels going into the cervix this can easily bleed and therefore mix in with your Mucus and can be a result of lots of Pink Discharge. Of course this worries the hell out of the mother...

I would certainly speak with your midwife if possible, who may suggest to you to visit your EPAU, these are the best people who will be able to offer you some support and answers to whats going on... Because you have already had a early scan due to previous bleeding, you should be down with the EPAU untill your 18 weeks (going by if you reside in the UK)

I wish you all the best x

Sorry I was meant to say as the previous poster said.. Ring the early pregnancy unit and explain to them what's happening. They were brilliant and booked me in for a reassurance scan xx

Said a little prayer for you honey. Hope you and little bean are ok. Don't worry too much as this can make cramping worse xxxxxx

P.s. the pic is fine don't be embarrassed. Those are some pretty pants you have, mine are all massive he he!

I have had bleeds like that in all my successful pregnancies hun; with my youngest I had one early scan and all was well but at 10 weeks I had a massive bleed, like a moderately heavy period I honestly thought that was it as I had not long before had a mmc, but I went to A&E had to wait for hours but they referred me up to the EPAU and then waited some more hours for them to fit me in; think I was sitting there for nearly 6 hours altogether. Everything was fine and the scanning equipment was top notch so she could tell my cervix was not open at all, sonographer had no idea where the blood was coming from but it definitely was not from inside. Good luck hun xx
