Of an early scan being accurate?
I have scheduled a private scan for Wednesday. I will be 16 weeks and 3 days along.
A boy is an obvious boy, but a girl can magically become a boy in just a few weeks time! What are my chances of the scan being accurate?!

I have heard that Boys can also magically become girls around 18 weeks... LOL. I had one with my 2nd at 14 weeks and it was accurate. They said boy and it never changed lol. I trust the place I go to. As you know I was told at 12 weeks 6 days Girl and will have my confirmation scan this Thursday at 14 weeks so we shall see if it changes. Either way I like seeing baby so it works for me haha!

The place I am going to guarantees it at 14 weeks as well, so I should be safe, but I like to worry. :haha:
Symptom wise, I believe I am carrying a girl, so we will see tomorrow. If it's a boy, I will be so surprised!

Happy either way though <3

Thank you! I am practically giddy!
I just hope the little one cooperates. i have been drinking a ton of water to improve my chances. :)

So, I am preeetttyyy sure from the potty shot that a penis won't be appearing anytime soon. Is everyone in agreement?! :haha:

So, that means we are having another girl!

This pregnancy, I have been the most sick out of all of my previous pregnancies. Even at just past 16 weeks, I still have severe nausea and food aversions. It's a game of what will stay down and what will not. I cannot stand the scent of cooking meat AT ALL. Sets me off instantly! Also, no food is really safe. Even water is not often a good idea. In a way, I am relieved that the baby is a girl because it makes sense to me with my condition. If it were a boy, he would have been the most fabulous boy ever. :haha:

My son will be happy! He wanted another sister sooooo bad! I am going to tell him when he gets home from school. :)

Thank you! I am beyond happy with the experience. This is the first time that I have ever had a private scan done and I wish I had done it in my other pregnancies! It was a much more enjoyable experience for me. The doctor's office has never been anywhere near as fun and cheery.

Congratulations! I had horrible morning sickness with both of my boys (HG) and cant imagine how much worse it would be with a girl. Ugh. I hope you feel better soon!
