Uploading a new Avatar Pic: Getting 'Security Token' Message?

When I try to upload a new Avatar picture I get the following message:

Your submission could not be processed because a security token was missing.

If this occurred unexpectedly, please inform the administrator and describe the action you performed before you received this error.

Does anyone have any idea what this means?

The image you are trying to upload is too big, please resize and try again!
