Feeling upset......I cant wait till my little baby girl is born (17 weeks) but im so upset still of the thought of geting stretch marks. I am currently 23 weeks pregnant today and i dont have no stretch marks on my tummy as my bump aint that big at the moment anyways. But i have them on my boobs ive just been looking at my old phone i had which i gave to my boyfriend as his has broke and i was looking back at pictures i took of me in my skirts and short tops ready to go out clubbing and stuff. i feel fat now everything i put on say a top if it shows my belly i will take it off and find another one to wear.
:( I was looking threw this clothes cataloge (sorry about spelling lol) because im going on holiday after Tamia is born and i was looking at bikinis and i dont think i could wear one if i get stretch marks on my belly.

Use bio-oil on them and it will help them fade.
There is not cure all for them and its one of the down sides of having a kid unfortunatley!
I'm sure you'll look great in a while.. i wouldn't be seen dead in a bikini and thats even before i had stretch marks!

I´m using Loreal stretch mark cream and palmers cocoa butter stretch mark cream but if i get em, i get em! It´s just a side effect of having a baby i suppose!

I have stretch marks now on my breasts and two red stretchmarks on my each of my hips. I am scared of the stretchmarks that women get on their stomachs!

Once you have that babe in your arms, you'll be thinking that a few stretchmarks was a small price to pay :)

I've been feeling the same. Like you I have them on my boobs and they've got really bad. They're right on the inside so I can't wear anything low cut. I feel really sad that my body is never going to look the same again but then I remind myself it's because I'm having a baby and I wouldn't change that for the world. :hugs:

i have the dreaded stretch marks on my tummy already been using cocca butter but i think if ur going going to get them thtas the way it is but it will be worth it xxx

awww i'm sorry you feel like this, i hope it gets better for you

:hugs: .......I've been dreading them myself - but I try to think positively. They sometimes fade away though so don't get too disheartened. I've been using cocoa butter since I found out I am pregnant!!! I am black and my skin needs way way way more moisture so i am used to using cocoa butter creams. But now that I am pregnant i do not use the cream - I USE THE REAL 100% COCOA BUTTER!! It's hard and it melts as you rub it on your skin. Try using that - forget the "lotion forms". While I only used it once oer week on my skin before, now I use it twice per day on my tummy, my breasts, my bottoms and my hips. Yup - I really BATHE in the stuff.

I must say, it has really improved my skin though, I may even keep it up after the pregnancy because the real cocoa butter is soooo much cheaper than the creams anyway!

who says stretch marks are bad? Who says they are ugly?
they're lines of experince. life lines.
I've a few on my boobs and dont mind. Its like any scar -they tell a story. The story of becoming a Mum. I think they should be embraced.
