Hanging fir trees upside down dates back to the middle ages, Legend has it that a 7th century monk use the triangular shape to describe the Holy Trinity to the Germans. Just a little history lesson!!!!! Lol I hate them they are ugly, but your ornaments are suppose to hang better on an upside down tree they dont get tangled !! IDK doesnt make me like them any more.

The idea is for more presents underneath and for the baubles to hang better...but look at the poor angel at the top of the pic posted. Its swamped by the 'base' lol
