I have looked at tons of threads on strollers and most of them are in the UK and its hard to fine them here in canada OR it be hard to get them approved by canadian standards.

So, US and Canadian ladies what stroller are you getting???

**Im wanting a posh:D stoller that does well on uneven ground and the seat can turn around. Oh and isnt going to bust the bank!

I'm planning on getting the Chicco Cortina stroller (and the accompanying Keyfit 30 carseat).

I was debating buying a lightweight jogging stroller instead, but being able to easily snap the carseat onto the stroller is too nice a perk to pass up.

I live in Canada and have decided to get the Uppababy Vista. BUT I'll be buying it online from a US store since it's way cheaper south of our border. Here, it's about $749-$799 reg price but I see them online for under $500 from US stores with free shipping (in the US).

I have family in Michigan, which is a 3 hour drive, so I can easily go pick it up (or have them bring it with them) once it's delivered.

Have you narrowed it down?

i'm not personally getting a stroller but i have looked at them and if i were to get one it would be the bumbleride indie

No :dohh: I cant for the life of me decide! There are sooooo many options out there! Im wanting a posh:D stoller that does well on uneven ground and the seat can turn around. Oh and isnt going to bust the bank!

We've been looking at the Baby Jogger Select. It is a bit pricey but we are hoping to have kids close together and it accommodates a second seat. Also folds down pretty compact and has tires that will get through the snow.

i got Uppababy vista for my first one... and i love it! my daughter practically lives in it. you can also get an attachment for it to make it a double stroller, which is what i am planning to do once i have this little one.

I have the Chicco Trevi (I think...or something like that) and the keyfit 30 car seat which fits into it. A word of advice though - go for whichever stroller sells as a "travel system". Even though the keyfit works with the Trevi, it's not meant to be used consistantly. Something I wish I'd known a little earlier! My stroller is falling apart from the weight of the car seat now, and LO is only 6 months old!

I got the chicco cortina and car seat too. We test drove a few in the shop and wanted something suitable from birth. We picked the mico range as its pretty neutral.

I'm having a hard time deciding between the b-ready and the Vista. I love love love the vista, but we're probably going to have a second baby soon after this one and the b-ready is a better double stroller.

Im planning on getting either a BOB Revolution stroller, or a Valco Baby Tri Mode

I wanted something that I can take on the trails. The Valco stroller can be made into a double stroller if needed.

i ordered mine with dd from germany bc i cant buy in the US what i want

I like the Britax b-ready but not the price so now considering the Maxi Cosi Foray.

Well I have three strollers for reasons that are too long to explain. The one that stays in my car is The First Years light weight umbrella stroller. Has a little basket and a cup holder that works if the cup isn't huge. Comes with a canopy. Works great for all of our basic stroller needs. We also have a regular Saftey First stoller. It's great to push and comfy for my daughter but the cup holders suck. Doesn't hold anything bigger than a can of coke so for that reason I almost never use it. The one I use for longer trips or if we are taking more stuff is my Graco stroller. Big basket, big storage/cup holder. Both of the last two are way bigger in the car despite the fact that I drive an SUV. Was considering buying a used sit in stand stoller since I will have a 2 year old and a new born. My daughter likes to ride and walk at times so I think it would be best. If I had my dream I would buy the Chicco brand because I have always really liked it. Just can't bring myself to spend the extra money when I already have so many strollers in the garage.

rory: You could sell the ones you dont use on Kijiji, and keep an eye out for a used sit and stand stroller. That way, you can get a bit of money back from the other strollers and still get the stroller that you want!

I had a Chicco Cortina stroller and car seat with my daughter.
It was nice but didn't push well on rough terrain or snow.
I then bought a baby trend jogger stroller and just love it, it pushed nice, folds easy, is light weight and goes threw just about everything.
I bought it at babies r us for about $ 120.00 ( didn't need the infant car seat by that time)
We are now expecting our 2nd and will need a double stroller.
I happened to find a baby trent infant car seat on sale at babies r us for $ 50.00.
So I went online and looked for Baby Trend double stroller and found one at Walmart in the U.S for $ 160 ( it was $ 299 here in Canada @ babies r us) so I used the site to store option to buy it ( and I bought a few other things that were way cheaper) and drove over to the U.S to pick them up. We made it a mini vaction so our buying allowence was higher without paying duty.

I bought a inexpensive Safety 1st travel system. This was my 1st baby and I had never used a stroller before. I guess I though a stroller is a stroller, why should I spend a ton of money on one. I wish I had done some research before hand now. After LO arrived and I started using it and HATED it, the only good thing I can say about it was that it had a huge storage area under it. The car seat was hard to do up because it had a puzzle buckle, and straps needed to be tightened from the back so you can't do it with LO in the seat.

After a few months of dealing with it, I said enough is enough and started researching new strollers. I bought the Quinny Freestyle XL and I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE it!!!!! I have used it on the beach, in the snow, on rough trails and it is easy to push through all of that. The car seat is a dream to adjust and do up. The only bad thing I can say about it is that it is a bit heavy, but the good aspects make up for that. Although if you lived in an appartment and had to lug it up stairs it might not be good for that. But I usually only have to lift it in and out of my vehicle.

When it comes to srtollers and car seats you get what you pay for.
