I bought a inexpensive Safety 1st travel system. This was my 1st baby and I had never used a stroller before. I guess I though a stroller is a stroller, why should I spend a ton of money on one. I wish I had done some research before hand now. After LO arrived and I started using it and HATED it, the only good thing I can say about it was that it had a huge storage area under it. The car seat was hard to do up because it had a puzzle buckle, and straps needed to be tightened from the back so you can't do it with LO in the seat.
After a few months of dealing with it, I said enough is enough and started researching new strollers. I bought the Quinny Freestyle XL and I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE it!!!!! I have used it on the beach, in the snow, on rough trails and it is easy to push through all of that. The car seat is a dream to adjust and do up. The only bad thing I can say about it is that it is a bit heavy, but the good aspects make up for that. Although if you lived in an appartment and had to lug it up stairs it might not be good for that. But I usually only have to lift it in and out of my vehicle.
When it comes to srtollers and car seats you get what you pay for.
