Using pregnancy as an 'illness'...need to rant!!

i agree give her the benefit of the doubt ihave a friend who three mons preggo and her ob doesnt even want her walking up stairs

Yeah I also agree with PreggoEggo.

I have had a previous loss and was (and still am) very carefull about lifting things etc, I carried a hoover up the stairs a few months back and had some bleeding.

She may also have other things such as SPD - Which I can assure you isn't nice!

Give her the benefit of the doubt, some pregnancies are harder than others.
x
i so agree with you if you ever suffered a lost you would be sketchy to

Ok, ok. Maybe I was just a tad too bitchy. I do see where she is coming from and I do like her normally think it's just my crazy hormones. I spoke to her yesterday on the phone and told her that I can't keep doing the hours and maybe she needs to see our boss to get hers lowered a bit... THANKFULLY she completely agrees with me and sees it from both point of views, which is lovely.
Sorry everyone I didn't mean to sound so pyhsco then! x

i have to admit before i had to quit my job because i got so ill i probably seemed really lazy, i would just be leaning against the counter as much a possible and when i was asked to go do something like buy milk i would get someone else to do it instead. im surprised they didnt fire me actually lol.
glad you talked to her and hopefully things will be better now.

lol i get what you mean about this... i worked in a bar and all through my pregnancy ive been carrying on the norm i even snapped at my friend the other day im now 30 weeks pregnant and i lifted a canvas painting onto a desk so it cud be paid for... and she shouted at me going dont life that!! your pregnant so i simply turned round and said yes pregnant not crippled... it really angers me when people tell me not to hoover or push a trolley or carry a bag of shopping god get a grip im having a baby not suffering from alife threatning illness
