UTI (Urinary Tract Infection)

Anyone else had this while pregnant?? Im 20 weeks 5 days and ive had this uti for a month! Ive had a antibiotic and a refill and its still not feeling like its better. Weird thing is it doesnt burn when i pee and it deffinently dont hurt, i also pee all the time! I thought utis made it hurt,burn, and made you use the bathroom less? My sysmptoms more like itching and sometimes a little swollen?? I thought i had a yeast infection but the Er doctor claimed it was a uti...i did have a cathader done and they said there was some bacteria in my bladder... I go tomorrow to my OB/GYN over it. Cause i think they might have wrongly diagnosed me...maybe? anyways my question is how long have you had a UTI before... and what does it sound like i have?? A uti, yeast infection, ect??
( I have no stds, i dont have any blisters down there or rash, or cuts, i dont have a fever)

I had a UTI 2 weeks ago.. the actual UTI lasted just over a week.. But I still find it uncomfortable to pee.. It feels like major pressure on my bladder :/

If you're itching and are swollen I'd definately go get checked out/a second opinion because it sounds like a yeast/bacterial infection..

Ok thanks. I never found it uncomfortable to pee except for once (when i first found out i had a "uti") it was swollen and hurt but that was it... Idk and at my last ob/gyn app they di a swab thing and everything came back normal?? I cant wait to find out tomorrow whats goin on

Sometimes I swear it's just phantom pregnancy things.. After my UTI I was 'sore' down there.. and thought I had another UTI or thrush.. and the swab came back 'satisfactory' and she accused me of being a hypercondriact

Deffo get a second opinion though

most times i've done a urine sample i've had a urine infection .

I get the whole phantom pregnancy thing though cause I get randomly sore ad swollen and i swear it's gonna be like the start of thrush then it just goes away?!

i forgot to add i have discharge that varies from clear to white but oesnt have an odor.
seems like its never going to go away.

I'm the same.. She prescribed me Caneston just incase it was thrush.. and I havnt used it cause it went away in like 24hours
TMI but sometimes I put it down to sex :/ & just the fact it isnt as 'frequent' as it used to be lol cause it always seems to be sometime after we've done to deed

I've had discharge thats gone from normal clear... to like I sneezed out of my nunny (TMI)
But aslong as it doesnt smell offensive or resemble cottage cheese.. then you're all good

ha yea, although you probably have it alot more than me though! My OH is away working in leeds at the moment so i only get to see him every once a month - We used to be at it everyday Not that i could now anyway - i'm too sore everywhere. i can't believe i gots to wait 6 weeks after aswell!

ha yea, although you probably have it alot more than me though! My OH is away working in leeds at the moment so i only get to see him every once a month - We used to be at it everyday Not that i could now anyway - i'm too sore everywhere. i can't believe i gots to wait 6 weeks after aswell!

Aww hun.. I get it once a week if I'm lucky now I used to live with OH but since I got pregnant things got complicated n his parents dont make me welcome so I'm back to my parents.. So we only see eachother once maybe twice a week and not always able to sneak off lol..
I dont like being touched atm.. like if OH cuddles me in bed I'm like get off!! .. but then I can cuddle up to him it's weird!
Plus last time we did it I cried because I dont feel sexy at all and felt like dead weight on top and like a blob when i was on the bottom..

I was honestly like a dog on heat until 3 weeks ago.. OH could have several sexual abuse cases bought up against me
I think because I've got quite a big bump compared to most girls at 17wks.. It's like theyre all still skinny and I've lost my flat tummy and now feel like a hippo

Apparently I look 'beautiful' naked .. OH has never called me beautiful so that made me feel better when I was upset lol bless him

Haha yeh I can still see the top bit my nunny atm.. But not like... the underneath bit very good
I'm getting a bit lazy doing it too because it's getting a little uncomfortable to bend forwards to do it

But tbh.. I have to put up with my OH having a hairy head.. chest.. belly.. goolies, legs and feet (Makes him sound like a yeti )
So I like to think a little hair down there wouldnt put him off
