It's finally my 'V day' - I'm so happy to have made it to 24 weeks after first tri bleeding, a high risk DS test of 1/40 (which was 1/10,000 on harmony test), and a 1.7cm cervix requiring cervical cerclage at 17.5 weeks. It's my first baby at 39 years of age so it was very much hoped and dreamed for.
I'm now finally allowing myself to enjoy my pregnancy and accept that our baby is going to be a reality. Finally we are buying things for our little man and getting ready for his arrival.
This forum has been a fantastic source of support during the darkest days, so thank you everyone for being there for each other; it really meant a lot when I was struggling through each day.
