I'm wondering if anyone has had a VBAC labour after getting pretty far on in their first labour and what it was like? I had my section at 8-9cm as LO was just too distresed to wait any longer.

I'm hoping that my first stage will be like a second baby first stage and my cervix will remember how to dilate. But I've never pushed before, so I'm guessing that pushing for me will be like with a first baby?

That's what I've heard it's meant to be like. I had a c-section at 10cm dilated and really want a VBAC next time.

I got to fully dialated and pushed for about 3 hours before going in to theatre to attempt forceps but she had not descended enough so they gave me a section.

I know I can handle the labouring bit and spent 3 hours pushing and pushing so I know I can do that bit but actually pushing her out is the bit I am worried about!

The one thing I really dont want is another emcs, I would rather just opt for an elcs!
