Hi
I just wondered if anyone could share any experiences of a VBAC after an elective section. My dd was born in 2007 by planned section at 37+3 - basically her growth had slowed and she was breech. The section went really well, was very calm and i recovered really quickly.
This time I am hoping for a VBAC. a lot of what i read is from peoples experiences after emergency sections, where they have failed to progress etc. My body has never been in labour so in many respects I feel like I'm in between being a first timer, but then with the risks of VBAC and a lot of what I'm reading doesn't feel relevant. Does that make sense? Not sure it does lol!!
So far so good with this pregnancy, baby is bang on 50centile and has been throughout and is also head down, but not engaged, just "fixed". So I'm hopefuil that given my pregnancy has been ineventful by bodymight continue to play ball and labour will be fine - is this wishful thinking?
I would appreciate hearing from anyone who has been in my situation so i could hear their stories, sucessful or otherwise!
Thanks
