So I haven't been the greatest at temping. I did it for a month, then gave up shortly after ovulation as my thermometer broke. I then felt so discouraged by the negative that month that I didn't temp again. I started up again this cycle and it has been a mess.

I am on CD 9 and have now had 2 dramatic drops in temp. I did have to skip one day as my DS had hidden my thermometer (CD 7) and overslept (CD 8). But it just seems so odd for those dips. Any input?

My chart is attached in my signature.l

Your tempatures aren't all that high, without a few other charts to compare it too, its pretty hard to read. Honestly, I would continue to chart and not worry about it for now. It could be a normal shift for you, they do look like large jumps, but like I said your temps could still be on the low side...Its really to early to tell anything...

Definitely keep going with the chart. I get huge ups and downs when I vary the time I take my temperature, so try to take it at exactly the same time every day, before getting up. Looks like you have not O'd yet so keep BDing. :)

Thank you ladies. We have decided to BD all week to be sure we take advantage of whenever I ovulate.

High temp variations are quite common during and right after bleeding. So maybe all of these will calm down, so keep charting and good luck!!
I'm just wondering why your menses are so scant or you don't record your bleeding?

My periods have alway been very light since I had my son. I bleed normal to light for 1-2 days then I spot for a couple more. Even before my son I never had periods longer than 4 days.

I am frustrated now because FF says I still haven't ovulated. I only had 1 OPK left so I took it on the day I saw my temp drop and it was a nice dark positive. I guess my temp hasn't gone up high enough after? Do you think the weather could be affecting this? It was pretty cold here up until a week ago and now we are having summer weather so I have fans on us all night?
